Description
LDS 200Nxx series simulate load dump transient occurring in the event of a discharged battery being disconnected (e.g. the abrupt disconnection owing to corrosion) while the alternator is generating charging current with other loads remaining on the alternator circuit at this moment, which can be destructive. The simulators can generate both transients without and with centralized load dump suppression (via built-in amplitude clamping circuit), with the continuous time of hundreds of milliseconds or longer, in compliance with ISO 7637-2, ISO 16750-2 and many other automotive manufacturers like Ford, Kreisler etc.
Features:
- 5.7” color touch screen;
- Capable of generating transients with centralized load dump suppression;
- Built-in adjustable impedance source;
- Pulse continuous time up to 1,200 ms (internal resistance > 2Ω);
- In compliance with test requirements of many manufacturers;
- Built-in 60 V / 30 A or 50 A, 100 A, 200 A coupling device;
- Detection of DUT current and over-current protection;
- Ethernet RJ 45 interface for PC control, printing test reports;
