Description
Entry Level Set Up, Highly Cost-effective
CryoPS-Celcius is a cryogenic probe station with KeyFactor’s TemPro cryogenic temperature regulation system. It is ideal for customers with low budget requirement and only need an entry level system. This system has 4 precision PID temperature controller and monitors which help user to get a comprehensive understanding of the test conditions. 200W total power ouput helps to warm up the system quickly(20 minutes from -196℃ to 200℃). Output power of TemPro is 24V DC, which reduces the electrical noises and provided an ideal test condition for low noise measurement.
Optimized Temperature Regulation System
CryoPS-Kelvin has four slicone diode inputs. This sytems can work with temperature regulation systems like model 26C of Cryocon and model 336 of Lakeshore. It has 100W and 50W PID controlled loops and four silicon diode temperature sensors. It has larger temperature range, 4.4~675K with 0.1K stability. Users can easily achieve 77K using liquid nitrogen or 4.4K with liquid helium.
Optional for Vacuum System, Low Vibration Level
In order to save more for users that has only entry level requirements, Key Factor offers cost-effective mechanical pump that pumps down the system to 10^-3Torr vacuum level. This is adequate for 77K measurement with liquid nitrogen. We also provide turbo vacuum pumps that pump down the system to 10^-5Torr (higher level available upon request) for higher vacuum requirements.
To reduce vacuum pumping vibration, KeyFactor’s vacuum systems are set up with an vibration isolations block. The helps to reduce vibrations from vacuum pumps, keeping the system stable and reducing probe drifing.
Precision Electrical Measurement
Accurate and reliable electrical measurement is one of the keyfactors of cryogenic porobe station.
KeyFactor provides various options for electrical characterizations:solid tungsten probes for basic I-V measurement, coax probes for PIV, optimized I-V/C-V measurement (low noise), dual coax probe for low noise C-V measurement, RF wedges for S parameter characterizations.
We also have various electrical feedthroughs to meet customers’ test instrument connectors requirements, such as BNC, SMA, TRIAX, 2.92mm microwave connectors, etc.
Optical Fibers and Feedthroughs
Key Factor can offer various options for optical fibers and vacuum feedthrougs for photon-electric tests.
The specifications of the fibers:
1. Wavelength: 200~1100nm or 400~2200nm;
2. Core diameter: 50, 105, 200, 400, 600nm
Other requirements available upon request.
Vaccum Feedthrough Connectors: SMA or FC vacuum feedthrough connectors are most commonly used. Other connectors can be provided upon request.
Various Sample Holder Options
The most commonly used sample holder is a OFC holder grounded to the System chasis. It is used when no background signal transmission is needed on the DUT. We also provide coax and triax versions with low noise for high resolution signal measurement. All holders are Type II gold plated.
If for magnetic measurement, we can also provide sample holders for ring magnets.
Advanced thermal shielding and anchoring
The temperature of the device under test (DUT) would be affected by heat radiation and transmission from the parts around it. If without comprehensive thermal anchoring to these parts, the real temperature of the DUT would be much higher than you see on the temperature controller. That is because the temperature seonsor is always installed on the stage but not the DUT. To avoid erroneous results, we apply the innovative thermal anchoring technique to probes, arms and radiation shields.
Comprehensive Understanding of Temperature
There are four temperature sensors in our system to provide you with a accurate thermal profile of the test environment. One sensor is installed on the sample stage and the others are installed on the radiation shields, probe arms, and probes separately.
